When I was getting my M.F.A. in fiction at the University of Minnesota, I taught a bunch of classes: composition, creative writing, and a wee bit of literature. Then I taught composition at the University of Wisconsin-River-Falls for a year, as well as teaching the occasional class at the Loft Literary Center. Now I teach at Pima Community College (East, West, Northwest campuses: I am a road warrior) in Tucson, Arizona.

I'm also taught a class at The Poetry Center at the University of Arizona: "Possibilities of Short Plays". 

Spring 2011, I was a resident at the Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts.

Summer 2012, I was a resident at the Prairie Center for the Arts.
