When I was getting my M.F.A. in fiction at the University of Minnesota, I taught a bunch of classes: composition, creative writing, and a wee bit of literature. Then I taught composition at the University of Wisconsin-River-Falls for a year, as well as teaching the occasional class at the Loft Literary Center. Now I teach at Pima Community College, East and West campuses, in Tucson, Arizona.
I'm also teaching a class at The Poetry Center at the University of Arizona soon, which makes me very happy. It's called "Possibilities of Short Plays".
This past spring, I was a resident at the Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts.
